Jairam Ramesh Challenges BJP Hegemony Amidst INDIA Bloc Strategic Shifts

Senior Congress leader and veteran strategist Jairam Ramesh has injected a dose of skepticism into the political narrative surrounding the 2029 general elections. In a wide-ranging discussion, Ramesh addressed the prevailing perception that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already secured a path to victory, asserting that the opposition is far from a 'done deal' and is actively recalibrating its strategy to counter the ruling party's influence.

He expressed deep concern regarding the delimitation process, which he warned could disproportionately affect states that have successfully managed population growth, potentially leading to political alienation in the southern and eastern parts of the country.
