Jharkhand's Rajya Sabha Race Sees JMM Win Amidst Alliance Tensions

The political landscape of Jharkhand witnessed significant shifts following the fiercely contested Rajya Sabha elections for two seats, the results of which were declared on June 18, 2026. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate, Baidyanath Ram, emerged victorious, alongside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supported independent candidate, Parimal Nathwani.
